Light Alterations



If you decide that cleaning and polishing the jewellery isn’t enough for you to start wearing the item, then the next natural step is to discuss light or minor structural improvements or changes.

This can be in the form of repair work to worn settings, or a more obvious design adaptation. However, the integrity of the original design, is of paramount importance!

The discussion stage will always help to determine just how much, or how little work should be carried out. Further alterations can always be made, after the agreed work has been completed. This gives you the freedom to see the work in progress, and confirm either further alterations, or that the item is satisfactory for its finish and polish.

This process is helpful, as it not only clarifies our Jewellers’ understanding of your needs, but it also shows in careful stages the jewellers’ ability to successfully carry out the work.
